Plant’s need more than Just water and so does your hair

One of my most common questions is, "What can I do for dry hair?"

These are my top 3 tips.

First things first, are you using you correct shampoo and conditioner? Every S and C or combinations of the two are for different types of hair, even if it's Head & Shoulder's. Knowing which one to use is difficult, especially if you've been using the wrong one.

Many hair treatments today will adjust the PH of your hair to a much lower level, meaning it will dry out a lot quicker, especially in hot weather. Our bodies natural PH level should be 7.4 and anything lower than this will make your hair or skin dryer, and also makes you more susceptible to getting sick. This is why it is so important to use the correct products on your body and not just your hair.

If you are not sure on the correct product to use, try a shampoo that has a neutral PH for colored and chemical processed hair.

2nd, Be careful how you wash your hair. Don't using boiling hot water. Use water that is normal to cool. If the water is too hot, it will open the hair follicles, making it dry and open to heat and pollution to dry it out more. It also makes your scalp oily, but leave the hair dry and brittle.

3rd, You could do a salon treatment every 15 days, but as this about what you can do at home, I recommend using a hair mask twice a week instead of a conditioner, for those with very dry hair. After you shampoo, then towel dry your hair to make it as dry as possible, don't use the hair dryer. Then apply the mask with 2 to 4 drops of argon oil to you hair, making sure to avoid your roots. I normally stay about 1 to 2 cm away from my roots when applying. Then massage your hair for 3 minutes, then using a lightly damp hot towel, wrap around your head for about 5 minutes. After this you can rinse it out very well, apply your leave in and style how you want.
